Epiphanies: Revelations from the Art to the Artist Introspection. Hopefulness. Manifestation. Silently meditate hidden thoughts and feelings. Intuition glimpses probable impossibility. Like a hidden seed or root lying dormant before bursting into glorious display, our pondering transforms into revelation. An epiphany. Live creatively. Living creatively, as solely individual as a fingerprint, thrives in relationship. Imprint life by saying “yes” to the unique burning in the heart; connecting with one another no longer live independently. Nourished by waters and warming sun, the hard little shell of the seed breaks sending forth a tender root. Creativity is dynamic and transformative, much like seasonal cycles marked by dormancy then renewal. Looking within, behind and ahead, pondering what is, has been or could be, and desiring revelation in the midst of flux. The little seed rests buried deep within the soil. Eyes perceive barrenness, inactivity. But the seed gestates, growing roots and transforming into delight but imagined. Creativity questions and may beget fear and hope. Mired in fear, the struggle to control, like clenched fists, restricts creative flow. In anticipation, hands wide open unwrap the gift placed therein, imagination opens to miracles. The hopefulness of the flower's reemergence after long bare seasons reaffirms with energy and vibrancy. Not an ending. A new beginning. Regenerative creativity: being absorbed in the immediate, yet transported beyond anxieties to a restorative space where all just “IS”. Trust. Now. That tiny seed with no power in itself transforms through grace into glorious bloom at just the appointed moment, making the place which once appeared empty now full of life, color, texture. The burning desire to live creatively intersects with the generosity of the Creating Spirit. Creativity is a gift, unmerited, abundant, waiting to be indulged. Live gratefully. Another epiphany.
