The connections between you and me, or you and the art, bring fresh energy.
Of all the gifts I receive from painting, sharing it with others is uniquely special.
Parade of Homes, 2805 Claremont Rd, Raleigh, NC
I love interior designers.
They take the process I use on my canvas of selecting a palette of color, adding texture, and mixing diverse mediums and apply to an entire home. That is intense! Marian Harrison and Susan Brown of Furnishing Solutions have created eclectic and energetic living spaces in this design home by Ryan Speight.
And my art is part of the look.
The Parade Home is open Oct 6 & 7, 13 & 14, 20 & 21
Express Yourself!: Experimenting with the process of abstract expressionistic painting
Rather than learning how to observe and render, we will experience what it feels like to make your unique marks, observe the picture plane, and respond, making decisions along the way, and trusting your intuition. We'll talk about the balance of intuition and skill, as well as some art historical context. There will be plenty of time for individual work.
9:30am - 5:30pm in my studio #207 at Artspace. Materials supplied.

Little Gallery opening in Downtown Roanoke, VA
The gallery’s second location will be in the Agnew Seed building on 301 Market St.
The Little Gallery has been in business for 30 years at Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta, VA, and has represented my work since 2016. I’m so honored owners, Pam and Mike Fridley have invited me now to take my art into Roanoke. Looking forward to being a part of that art community as revitalization efforts are already thriving in the historic downtown Roanoke.
